Las Vegas has become a foodie's haven. As more people flock to Las Vegas to experience the incredible food options, it's become increasingly harder to find cost efficient and cheap eats in Sin City.

There are, however, a few select deals found on the Las Vegas Strip that will enable you to eat a decent, yet cheap meal.

$20 Food Challenge

In this challenge, we are going to try to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Las Vegas for under $20. We're avoiding fast food, so don't expect us to take the easy way out and eat at McDonald's, Taco Bell or Burger King.

Quick Notes:

• First off, by “cheap,” I’m not talking about under $20 per person, or even under $15. For cheapskates like me, a cheap Las Vegas Strip meal is defined as around five to ten dollars.
• I’m also talking about sit down restaurants.
• No fast food. There are numerous McDonalds and Taco Bells along the Strip where you can get your cheap fast food, but in this challenge, we're sticking with places where you sit down, are served, and can enjoy a leisurely meal.

Let's dive in!

Breakfast: La Salsa Cantina

For $4.79, you get two eggs cooked any way you like, your choice of bacon, ham or sausage, two tortillas (your choice of corn or flour) or Texas toast, and southwest potatoes.

The special is offered seven days a week. Keep in mind however, this breakfast special ends at noon. (They open at 9 AM).

Lunch: Ocean One Bar and Grille

Ocean One Bar & Grill is a casual dining option featuring American classics plus 3-for-1 drink specials (we're not going to write about drinks since this challenge is about food) and quite well-known for their $5 Lunch. Just like our cheap breakfast selection, Ocean One Bar and Grille is located in Miracle Mile Shops.

Dinner: Village Pub and Cafe

An alternative option for those looking for a late night meal. Ellis Island also features one of the best steak and egg specials that I have ever seen. If you visit between the hours of 11:00 PM and 11:00 AM, they have a $5.99 steak and eggs special.
