If you would've asked us about the Las Vegas barbecue scene when we started this site, we probably would've replied with a sarcastic βwhat barbecue scene?β This is all changing, however, and many barbecue joints have opened up around Las Vegas that are starting to put our βque scene on the map.

In this post we're looking for the best barbecue in Las Vegas, and we've been to a number of amazing spots so far!
Amazing! Jessie Rae's BBQ hits the spot each and every time I order food from them. I usually get the two meats and 1 side combo for $16.99. I'm also a big fan of The Jessie Rae: pulled pork stacked on top of Utani Bread, Vegas Slaw and BBQ chips for $11.99. The maniac fries are a little expensive, but they're worth trying once or twice two. Everything is delicious on this menu.

Jessie Rae's is great and it's close to my office, so I hate to dock any points but the parking situation sucks. There are only 5 spots in front of the business and you can't park on the street. The side street next to the building is also a no-parking zone, so that's why they're getting docked.

When I use to live on the East side of the town, I stopped by Sunrise Casablanca and stumbled upon the Monti's Smokehouse BBQ menu and fell in love with it instantly. Whenever I order from Monti's I usually order the The Monti - Cuban Sandwich: smoked pork loin, pulled pork, pickles, Swiss, Chimichurri, mustard on a Cuban roll. Another favorite of mine is the The Charlie - Pulled Pork Sandwich: Carolina style pork, coleslaw, bbq sauce on a brioche roll.

I use to eat Monti's almost every other day while I lived on the East side of Las Vegas. Unfortunately I moved to the opposite side of town, so it's too far away for me to go pick it up, but whenever I'm on Uber Eats I get it every time (sorry Uber Eats drivers). The only reason they got docked a point is because the location is the only reason I don't go anymore, but if you live on that side of town this is a 9/9 establishment.

Come for the pop culture references and celebrity appeal, but you'll want to stay for the great barbecue. Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ is located in Pawn Plaza downtown and right next door to the famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop made popular by the Pawn Stars TVΒ Show on the History channel. As you could guess by the name, Rick's Rollin Smoke BBQ is owned by Rick Harison, the owner of Gold and Silver Pawn Shop.

I've been to Rick's Rolling Smoke BBQ a few times and I've never left disappointed or hungry. The prices are higher than the other items on our list, but if you factor in all the clout and hard work they put into Pawn Stars, they're allowed to charge a premium, but that doesn't mean IΒ won't knock them a point on my scoring system. I usually get the duo plate for $22 (2 meats + 1 side + soft drink) or I get the Chopped Brisket Sandwich for $14. They have an ALLΒ YOUΒ CANΒ EATΒ BBQ special for $40. This includes everything on their menu and a pitcher of PBRΒ Beer. You have one hour to fill your face with as much meat as you can handle, so if you ever wanted to spend an hour in Riley Reid's shoes, all you need is $40.

One of the LV Plug readers, sent us a message that we forgot to include Tucky's Smokin BBQ in our hunt for the best barbecue in Las Vegas. After doing a little research, we did in fact miss out on a delicious local barbecue restaurant. Tucky's Smokin BBQ has a large menu. They have all of the traditional barbecue staples on the menu. I went with the two meat combo for $17.95. This combo includes your choice of two different meats, two small sides, pickles, and a corn muffin top.

After one visit to Tucky's Smokin BBQ, I knew that I would be back again when I'm in Henderson. I know someone is going to ask why we gave them a 7/9 if the food is so good and our answer is that I can't knock others for being on an inconvenient side of town and not knock Tucky's for the same. I'm the one reviewing here and if it's not in my stomping yard, they get knocked a point. No disrespect, but they still received my money and my stamp of approval. Everyone wins.

For the purists out there, Fox Smokehouse BBQ isn't technically in Las Vegas. It's in Boulder City. With that being said, it is 1000% worth the drive. It's easily the best restaurant in Boulder City, so IΒ have to include them in our list of the best barbecue joints in Las Vegas. I'd even go as far as saying they're in my top-20 restaurants in the greater Las Vegas area. Their menu is filled with great food. I don't think there's anything on the menu that I don't like.

I did have to knock them two points on my location scale, because you do have to drive to Boulder City, but they make up for it on the price and quality side, so they easily received the LVΒ Plug stamp of approval.

If you can get over the line, John Mull's Meats and Road Kill Grill is the place to go. This local gem is a hidden treasure located North of the Las Vegas strip. Locals don't share this place with tourists, but I don't see why they don't. It's delicious. I lived in Las Vegas for years before discovering this restaurant. I randomly had Dives, Diners, and Drives on and saw that they were in Las Vegas and immediately drove North to check this BBQ spot out. It was a good decision.

The BBQ was great, but I did have to knock a couple of points of because of the location. Getting here is a little bit of a pain and the parking situation isn't the best since it looks like it use to be a residential home that is now converted to a BBQ spot.
